How do I create my account?

Download Lua from the App Store and enter your email address. We will send you a verification code instantly; no password is required. Enter the code and you are done.

I entered my email but I did not receive the code. What should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, wait 2 minutes and request a new code. Codes expire after 10 minutes. If the problem continues, write to us through this form.

Can I use Lua without creating an account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can explore Lua as a guest without registering. However, your information is stored only on your device and you could lose it if you uninstall the app or change phones. We recommend registering so you do not lose your history.

Are my health data safe?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and only you can access it thanks to row-level security policies in our database. We never sell or share your information with third parties for advertising purposes.

What data is sent to AI?

Your symptom, food, sleep, and hormonal phase logs are processed with Anthropic (Claude) to generate personalized insights. The data is sent anonymously: your name, email, and directly identifying data are never shared. It is not used to train AI models.

How do I delete my account and data?

Send us a message at soporte@lua.care requesting account deletion. We process all requests within a maximum of 30 business days. Once deleted, the information cannot be recovered.

Is Lua free?

Lua is freemium: you can use the essential features at no cost. Advanced features, such as detailed insights and personalized recommendations, are available in the premium plan.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from Settings > Subscription on your iPhone, or directly from your App Store account. When you cancel, you keep premium access until the end of the paid period.

Do I lose my data if I cancel?

No. Your data and history are kept even if you cancel or move to the free plan. You only lose access to premium features.

Does Lua replace my doctor or gynecologist?

No. Lua is a personal tracking and wellness tool, not a medical device. The insights it generates are guidance-oriented and educational, based on peer-reviewed medical literature, and do not constitute a diagnosis. Always consult your healthcare professional for any medical question.

Does Lua work for perimenopause and menopause?

Yes. Lua is designed to support every hormonal stage: active menstrual cycle, perimenopause, and postmenopause. During onboarding, you can indicate your current stage and Lua adapts to you.

Lua is available on iPhone (iOS). We do not have an Android version yet, but we are working on it. You can join our Android waitlist by writing to us.
