Lua Care

1. Acceptance of the terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Lua Care application ("the App"), you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must not use the App.

Reviewed October 23, 2026. These terms cover the features available in your version of Lua. Trial features may vary. Accepting these terms does not replace specific permissions for health data, AI, connections, or new purposes.

2. Description of the service

Lua Care supports women’s wellbeing through cycle, symptom, food, sleep, activity, study, and supplement records, compatible connections, and AI tools. Lua Bot offers general conversation and tools, including nutrition, supplements, and lab studies. Lupa is its proactive companion and brings together the same capabilities. Availability depends on your version and the features enabled for your account.

Bots may consult relevant account context, suggest plans and follow-up, prepare records, and work in the cloud while the app is closed. Initiative adapts to available data, preferences, activity, and limits; it does not guarantee a daily greeting, continuous monitoring, an immediate response, or detection of every risk.

3. Important medical notice

Lua Care is NOT a medical service and does not replace professional healthcare consultation, diagnosis, or treatment. The information provided by the App, including insights generated by artificial intelligence, is exclusively informational and educational in nature.

You must not make medical decisions based solely on the information in this App. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any question or medical condition.

Bots are not healthcare professionals or emergency services. Do not stop treatment or change doses based on a Lua response. Study interpretations, nutrition estimates, and supplement suggestions may be wrong. In an emergency, seek immediate local care; do not wait for Lua.

4. Eligibility

To use Lua Care you must be over 18 years of age. Use of the App by minors is not permitted.

5. User accounts

Lua Care allows anonymous use (as a guest) as well as the creation of accounts with an email address. If you use the App as a guest, your data is tied to your device and may be lost if you uninstall the App or switch devices.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

6. Acceptable use

By using Lua Care, you agree to:

• Provide truthful information about your health, for your own benefit.
• Not attempt to access other users' data.
• Do not bypass access controls or interfere with App security. This rule does not restrict rights granted by mandatory law.
• Not use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• Not interfere with the normal operation of the App or its servers.

7. Intellectual property

All content in Lua Care, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and design, is the property of Lua Care or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App exclusively for your personal, non-commercial use.

8. AI, plans, and actions

Responses, insights, and plans are generated automatically from available context. They may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. A plan is an adjustable proposal: it does not prove consumption, adherence, a diagnosis, or a clinical outcome.

• A proposed action or draft is not a saved record, purchase, booking, or validated study. Check the status and confirmations for each feature.
• Sensitive actions and data sharing retain their authorization controls. Proactivity does not grant new permissions.
• Check dates, amounts, units, laboratory ranges, and sources. Not every response has human review, and not every statement has a scientific reference.
• Lua Bot and Lupa chats share capabilities; their actions remain subject to the corresponding permissions and controls. History and personal memory support your experience; they do not by themselves constitute model training.

9. Service availability

Lua Care is provided "as is" and "as available", without limiting warranties and rights granted by law. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for technical, security, or service reasons, subject to notice obligations and applicable rights relating to your purchases and subscriptions.

We do not guarantee that the App will be available in an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free manner at all times.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lua Care shall not be liable for:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.
• Health decisions made on the basis of the App's information.
• Loss of data due to technical failures or guest use.
• Service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or your non-waivable consumer rights.

11. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes in the App or through an appropriate channel before they apply when required. Posting revised text will not retroactively expand the use of your health data: if a new purpose requires authorization, we will request it separately.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account if you violate these terms, without prior notice and without any obligation to provide compensation.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be resolved before the competent courts of Mexico City.

14. Subscriptions and payments

Lua offers free features and paid products with limits. The current offer, localized price, period, benefits, and limits appear before confirmation in App Store. Lua Bot is not unlimited: chat, voice, research, and certain actions may share a usage allowance; other feature limits are stated separately. The allowance is a service limit, not withdrawable money.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled under Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple account’s subscription settings; cancellation does not automatically delete your Lua account or records.
• Apple charges upon confirmation and handles renewals and refund requests under its terms and your applicable rights. Lua may receive receipts and transaction information, not your full card number.
• Historical products, subscriptions, and individual purchases retain their granted rights. A new feature does not by itself convert a previous purchase into another product or authorize an additional charge.
• Included plans, individual purchases, and limits may vary by version and offer. A benefit is not considered granted until the purchase is verified; compatible purchases can be restored with the corresponding Lua and Apple accounts.
• When a limit is reached, new AI work may stop until reset or until usage becomes available. This does not mean saved plans or records have been deleted. Price changes and your options will be communicated under Apple’s rules and applicable law.

16. Connected devices and services

Connecting a device or service is optional. Available sources, categories, and scope appear in the connection flow and may vary by account, device, region, or provider. Access is completed through the flow available for each source and the corresponding permissions; compatibility alone does not imply a partnership or official integration.

Brands identify the source of data and belong to their owners; they do not imply affiliation, approval, or endorsement unless expressly stated and authorized. Connections may change, require additional verification, have incomplete data, or stop. We do not guarantee continuous sync or availability of every metric. Lua may limit or withdraw a connection for security, compatibility, or service restrictions, without removing applicable rights relating to your purchases.

Connect only accounts you are entitled to authorize. Your authorization does not replace permissions Lua must obtain from the provider or permit bypassing access controls or violating the law. Syncing and subsequent use must respect the source’s terms and permissions. Disconnecting and deleting data are different operations, as explained in Privacy.

17. Messages and attachments

You may submit text and the image and document types supported by the feature, subject to size, count, and format limits. Pasting content into the field prepares it for sending; it does not authorize general access to your clipboard, library, or files.

Share only content you have the right to provide. Check identifying information about you and other people in photos, files, and metadata before sending. Analysis may extract text and data from a document, does not guarantee authenticity, and does not replace review of the original.
